Intermède New York Performances

Intermède is a live event presented at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York City, with performances by Maria Kourkouta and Luc Decaster. The work moves in an open, “free” register, treating the museum as a site where sound, gesture, and attention can be rearranged in real time. In the context of NYC’s long history of experimental performance inside art institutions, it reads as a small intervention rather than a fixed program. Its most telling quality is its refusal to resolve into a single, stable meaning.
