Dazies LP New York Performances

DAZIES is a New York City rock/pop group drawing from riot grrrl and queercore lineages, now fronting an LP release show at the Knitting Factory. The set favors short forms and hard pivots, with volume and tempo used as structure rather than decoration. Their approach was sharpened in tight rooms around the city, including bills at Arlene’s Grocery, where ensemble timing matters more than spectacle. One clear takeaway is how the band treats restraint as a kind of pressure system, not a limitation.
