An Italian Disco Revolution New York Performances

At National Black Theatre, *An Italian Disco Revolution* brings Disco Bambino’s digital-archaeology project into a New York City context. The program traces Italian disco’s brief, influential run from 1977 to 1983, using DJ-led electronic sets shaped by research and archival traces of studios, clubs, and independent labels. Images and documents surface as evidence, not decoration, situating sound inside its social and industrial conditions. It also offers a quiet corrective to the Anglo-American storyline that often defines disco history.
