PETER PANTO - CLOSING NIGHT New York Performances

“PETER PANTO – CLOSING NIGHT” lands at The Parkside Lounge as a live, in-room performance shaped by cabaret and downtown theater habits. It reframes the familiar Peter Pan mythology through an adult lens, leaning into gender play, nightlife codes, and the uneasy bargain between escape and responsibility. No widely documented NYC-premiere history is attached to the piece, but its setting matters: it fits a Lower East Side lineage where bar stages double as laboratories for new character and form. One clear strength is its refusal to treat nostalgia as neutral.
