The International Pop Overthrow Festival New York Performances

The International Pop Overthrow Festival is a touring showcase of pop and guitar-driven songwriting, presented as a rotating bill of bands rather than a single headliner. In New York City, it has functioned as a recurring point of contact for indie pop scenes that often live outside mainstream venues, giving local acts a shared frame with visiting groups. This edition is a live set at The Parkside Lounge, where short performances accumulate into a survey of what “pop” can mean in 2026. It’s one of the few formats that still treats the bill itself as the artwork.
