Ammi Boys Album Release Party New York Performances

Ammi Boys return to the Knitting Factory for an album release set, adding another entry to the venue’s long-running role as a testing ground for New York City rock bills. The group works in the overlap of guitar-forward rock and pop architecture, with songs that turn on rhythmic detours and clean, communal hooks. Onstage, the delivery is plainspoken and close to the material rather than theatrical. One thing that stands out is how the arrangements leave space for the band to recalibrate in real time, making the release feel like a document of a local circuit.
