Get, Get, Get, Get and Get Is Too! — New York New York Performances

Now playing at the Milton G. Bassin Performing Arts Center, *Get, Get, Get, Get and Get Is Too! — New York* stages a cross-section of the city’s musical languages in one program. Miguel Anggelo, Santiago Cruz, the Queens College Choral Society, the Spanish Harlem Orchestra, and the Queens Symphony Orchestra share the bill, moving between concert tradition, choral writing, and Latin bandstand formats. The result reads less like a single narrative than a portrait of coexistence, where borough institutions and touring voices occupy the same frame. It offers a clear snapshot of how New York’s cultural life is built through collaboration, not uniformity.
