Le Paradoxe de John New York Performances

At L’Alliance New York, *Le Paradoxe de John* is presented as a gallery exhibition within the institution’s live cultural programming. The work examines how a single figure named John can be constructed through competing accounts, images, and gaps in the record, treating identity as something edited as much as discovered. In New York, where French and francophone arts circulate through a small network of venues, the show reads as part of an ongoing local dialogue rather than a one-off import. Its quiet critical point is that documentation can create as many contradictions as it resolves.
