Christmas Stories New York Performances

At Dizzy’s Club, *Christmas Stories* is presented as a live jazz set featuring the Christian Sands Quartet. The program draws on seasonal themes without treating them as fixed repertoire, using improvisation to move between reflection, humor, and swing. In New York City, holiday concerts are a recurring civic ritual, and this one sits inside the Lincoln Center orbit where jazz has long been framed as a living tradition rather than a museum piece. Sands’s writing and pacing suggest a narrative instinct, letting tunes behave like short scenes.
