Jakob Kudsk Steensen: Wetland New York Performances

At MoMA Exhibitions, Jakob Kudsk Steensen’s *Wetland* is presented as a time-based artwork that looks to marsh ecologies and their contested histories. Built from field research and digital modeling, it treats the wetland as both habitat and archive, shaped by extraction, engineering, and climate pressure. In a city defined by reclaimed shorelines and managed waterfronts, the work reads as a local parable as much as an environmental study. Its cool, data-forward imagery lets the politics of land use surface without being underlined.
