Art As Social Dreaming: Imagining Decolonial Futures New York Performances

At PACNYC, *Art As Social Dreaming: Imagining Decolonial Futures* arrives as a rock/pop live event framed like a public forum. The performance treats music as a site of inquiry, moving through stories and sounds that question inherited power, land, and belonging, and asking what decolonial futures might feel like in the body. In a city built on overlapping diasporas and contested histories, the piece reads less as concert than as cultural method. Its clearest critical point is its refusal to offer resolution, choosing process over closure.
