Six Nations: One Fire New York Performances

At PACNYC: Perelman Performing Arts Center, *Six Nations: One Fire* is a documentary-style play that traces the histories and present-day realities of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, moving from diplomacy and land to language, family, and survival. It frames sovereignty as lived practice rather than abstraction, and treats the “Six Nations” as distinct peoples bound by a shared political tradition. If this marks an NYC debut for the work, the setting matters: a city built on Lenape land hosting a story about Indigenous governance. Its restraint lets testimony and detail carry the argument.
