Rocket Park New York Performances

Rocket Park is an outdoor exhibition space at the New York Hall of Science, where retired rockets and missile-era hardware are presented as artifacts of mid‑century American science and defense. For kids, it functions as a walk-through lesson in scale, materials, and the public myths that grew around the Space Race. In Queens, the setting matters: the museum sits on the former 1964–65 World’s Fair grounds, linking today’s STEM education to New York’s history of showcasing technology. The display’s bluntness is its strength, leaving room for questions rather than triumphal stories.
