The Price of Fame Tour New York Performances

“The Price of Fame Tour” lands at Irving Plaza as a Hip-Hop/R&B bill anchored by Skilla Baby. The show frames fame less as a trophy than as a working condition, with songs that track ambition, scrutiny, and the costs that follow success. In New York City, Irving Plaza’s role as a proving ground for touring rap gives the night added context, placing a current voice in a room with long memory. The most telling detail is the contrast between confessional lyrics and the venue’s tight, immediate acoustics.
