Terms of Agreement New York Performances

“Terms of Agreement” arrives at Moving Image Exhibitions as a live, gallery-sited work that treats the contract as a cultural artifact rather than a neutral tool. It tracks how consent is drafted, performed, and enforced, from institutional policies to the small print that follows people through daily life in New York. If it has no fixed NYC premiere history, it still reads in conversation with the city’s long record of labor negotiation, housing rules, and media law. The piece makes a plain point: agreement is often a staged condition, not a shared one.
