The Jingle Musical New York Performances

*The Jingle Musical* is currently playing at The Stone at The New School, placing it inside a New York City room with a long record of boundary-minded programming. The piece draws on rock/pop and jazz, using improvisation to treat short melodic “jingles” as raw material for structure, disruption, and return. A rotating roster of guests brings distinct vocabularies to the same framework, so authorship stays in motion. In a city where genre labels often harden into branding, it argues—quietly—that they are still negotiable.
