Cosmic Jungle New York Performances

At Elsewhere, *Cosmic Jungle* unfolds as a late-night electronic set led by Japanese artist Takuya Nakamura. His practice threads traditional cultural references through contemporary sound design, placing rhythm and performance in a space between inherited forms and club electronics. In New York, where Elsewhere often serves as a testing ground for boundary-crossing work, the piece reads less like a genre exercise than a study in how identity travels through texture and pulse. It matters for its refusal to separate “heritage” from the present tense.
