Emergence New York Performances

At NJPAC, *Emergence* places physicist and broadcaster Professor Brian Cox onstage in a hybrid format: spoken reflection threaded through Rock/Pop performance. The show draws on his life between the University of Manchester and CERN’s ATLAS collaboration, using music as structure rather than ornament. In the New York area, it reads less like a lecture than a portrait of how scientific ideas circulate through popular culture and back again. Its sharpest move is refusing to separate expertise from entertainment, and letting the tension remain.
