Worst Drag In America • A Slayyyter Tribute Show New York Performances

“Worst Drag In America • A Slayyyter Tribute Show” lands at C’mon Everybody as a New York club-night built around electronic pop and the deliberate artifice of drag performance. Whatever mike, Moorea Masa, The Mood, BEAR BELLY, and Hilary Duff cycle through sets that treat Slayyyter’s catalog less as impersonation than as raw material for character work and DIY stagecraft. In a city where tribute shows double as scene reports, this one reads like a snapshot of how NYC drag absorbs internet-era music and reprocesses it for the room. The critical point is simple: the “worst” in the title is a strategy, not a limitation.
