Lyceum Theatre
About Lyceum Theatre
The Lyceum Theatre sits at 149 West 45th Street in Midtown Manhattan’s Theater District. It opened in 1903 and remains a working Broadway house, presenting straight plays and musical productions within a 922-seat auditorium. The building was designed by Herts & Tallant in a Beaux-Arts mode, and both its facade and interior spaces have New York City landmark status. Its compact scale lends the room a focused, attentive feel.
