About Booth Theatre
Located in Manhattan's Theater District, the Booth Theatre at 222 West 45th Street is a historic venue that has been a part of New York City's cultural landscape since 1913. Designed in the Italian Renaissance style by architect Henry Beaumont Herts, it was named in honor of the 19th-century actor Edwin Booth. With a seating capacity of 800, the theater is managed by The Shubert Organization and continues to showcase Broadway productions. Its facade and some interior sections are recognized as New York City landmarks.
