About This Event

Emmet Cohen is a New York-based jazz pianist known for his command of the bebop and post-bop traditions alongside an accessible, communicative style that has drawn new audiences to the music. Cohen has performed alongside Roy Hargrove, Ron Carter, Jimmy Cobb, and Christian McBride, and leads his trio in regular engagements at Birdland Jazz Club in Midtown Manhattan. His residencies there have become a fixture of the city's jazz programming.
