Candelight Cello - Bach X Philip Glass
About This Event
A program pairing Johann Sebastian Bach and Philip Glass is presented at Groupmuse NYC as part of the Candelight Cello series. The lineup centers on cello interpretations that set Bach's counterpoint against Glass's tightly organized repetition and slowly shifting patterns, allowing a direct appraisal of Baroque and late-20th-century compositional approaches.
