Rob Stapleton's Sugar Shack Sundays

Rob Stapleton’s *Sugar Shack Sundays* is a stand-up showcase presented live at Comedy in Harlem, placing one working comic at the center of an ongoing neighborhood ritual. Stapleton anchors the night with material shaped by New York routines and the changing social geography of Harlem. The format reflects a long city tradition: comedians using small rooms as laboratories before ideas harden into larger narratives. Its value is less in novelty than in the steady record it keeps of what feels current, and what still stings, in the room.
