About This Event
Tyshawn Sorey performs as part of the TJG Signature Series at The Jazz Gallery, presenting work that moves between contemporary classical practice and the improvised language of jazz. He is active in New York rooms such as Roulette and the Village Vanguard and in academia as a professor of contemporary music; his performances prioritize structure, tempo and controlled density over display.
