About This Event
Bassist and composer Joe Martin brings his quartet to The Jazz Gallery. A presence on New York’s small‑room circuit — appearing at Bar Bayeux and Ornithology Jazz Club and sharing bandstands with Jerome Sabbagh, Melissa Aldana and Bill Stewart — Martin favors time, touch and quick response over display. The group's frontline‑heavy approach foregrounds the bass as a conversational anchor.
