Jazz
Mike Clark Quartet
About This Event
Drummer and composer Mike Clark, whose profile sharpened in the early 1970s through work with Herbie Hancock where jazz met funk in tightly engineered grooves, leads his quartet at Smalls Jazz Club. Clark’s approach favors rhythmic precision over display, and the quartet format foregrounds those grooves and disciplined group interplay.
