Nate Jones Septet
About This Event
Bassist and producer Nate Jones brings his septet to Smalls Jazz Club, presenting compositions that favor ensemble balance and internal counterpoint over solo-driven spectacle. Jones’s studio and stage credits — including work with Stevie Wonder, Jay‑Z and film and television sessions — inform his bandleading; the group’s appearance at Smalls places that writing in a room known for close listening and cross‑pollination within New York’s working jazz network.
