Improv Harold Night: Club Gator & Rhubarb &
About This Event
Improv Harold Night at the UCB Theatre features Club Gator and Rhubarb in a traditional Harold lineup. Both teams work in UCB’s long-form tradition: Club Gator favors clean group mechanics and steady escalation, while Rhubarb emphasizes visual logic and gag-forward, tightly paced scenes that let small premises accumulate into larger patterns.
About Improv Harold Night: Club Gator & Rhubarb &
Improv Harold Night at UCB Theatre pairs two house teams, Club Gator and Rhubarb, in a classic Harold format shaped by the school’s New York legacy in long-form improv. Club Gator builds with disciplined group dynamics and gradual escalation. Rhubarb leans into visual rules, fast gags, and scenes that stay tight on internal logic. The contrast reads as a small study in how contemporary UCB-trained ensembles balance craft and spontaneity within an old structure.
