About This Event
Liz Glazer, Michael Fleming, Talent Harris Jr and Aaron McCann appear on the bill at New York Comedy Club - Midtown. McCann, an Irish-born, Australia-based writer and filmmaker (Top Knot Detective; Koko: A Red Dog Story), favors dry, narrative-driven sets; Harris Jr. works in short, adaptive beats of direct observation; Michael Fleming has recent festival screenings; Glazer brings a distinctive stand-up voice.
About Top Knot Detective
At New York Comedy Club – Midtown, the other “Top Knot Detective” reads less like a title than a shared reference point for a night of stand-up. Marie Faustin, Maximilian Spinelli, Aaron McCann, Jatty Robinson, and Geo Perez rotate through sets that lean on character, pacing, and story logic. McCann, Irish-born and now based in Australia, brings a writer-filmmaker’s sense of structure, with dry setups that pay off late. No NYC premiere history is established here; the significance is how film-and-stage sensibilities overlap in a small-room comedy format.
