Switch n’ Play Presents: Slash n’ Spray

“Switch n’ Play Presents: Slash n’ Spray” is a live play currently running at Littlefield in Brooklyn. It borrows the grammar of slasher cinema and stages it with drag performance’s quick shifts in character, costume, and point of view. The piece lands in a New York tradition where downtown theater tests genre, gender, and camp as tools for critique rather than escape. One clear strength is how the form itself becomes the argument, using horror’s rituals to show what audiences are trained to fear and laugh at.
