Adjua Ajamu Trio
About This Event
The Adjua Ajamu Trio plays in a small-ensemble format that foregrounds rhythm and melody in close conversation, leaving space for improvisation to shape each tune. Their sets, often heard in New York rooms including Terra Blues, favor clarity over spectacle with careful attention to dynamics, tempo shifts and ensemble listening; the trio’s onstage practice emphasizes moment-to-moment decisions that define live jazz.
