Medellin Fridays - Colombian Latin & Reggaeton Party NYC

Medellin Fridays brings Colombian club music and reggaeton into a New York context, foregrounding the DJ as curator as much as entertainer. The current edition runs live at San Antonios, where electronic blends, dembow patterns, and Latin pop references are stitched into long, dance-floor sequences. In a city where Latin nightlife is often flattened into a single “Latin” category, this series marks a more specific lineage, tied to Medellín’s recent global influence. Its significance is less in novelty than in continuity: a recurring space for diaspora sound and local mixing.
