About It's Happening with Snooki & Joey
At Irving Plaza, *It’s Happening with Snooki & Joey* brings reality television’s Nicole LaValle—known publicly as Snooki—into a live, stage-based format alongside Joey. The show draws on her long run in franchise TV, plus a parallel career in hosting and guest appearances that has included talk-show circuits and a stint on *WWE Raw*. In New York, it reads as another chapter in the city’s ongoing habit of turning pop-cultural notoriety into ticketed performance. The result is less a play in the traditional sense than a mediated persona, performed in real time.
