Moondog HiFi presents: DISCO AFTERLIFE

DISCO AFTERLIFE is a DJ-centered electronic set currently running at Moondog Hifi in New York City. The project treats disco less as a period style than as an afterimage: a living archive of basslines, edits, and club memory, reassembled in real time. Its NYC significance is local rather than premiere-based, shaped by the city’s long feedback loop between dance floors, queer nightlife, and DJ craft. One clear virtue is its restraint, letting transitions and texture do the storytelling instead of commentary.
