Champian Fulton Quartet
About This Event
Billed as the Champian Fulton Quartet at The Django, the set places Fulton’s piano and voice in the lineage of vocal jazz and straight-ahead standards. Known for building arrangements at the piano—adjusting harmony, tempo and phrasing in response to her singing—she works here in a close, small-room setting where conversational interplay with a responsive rhythm section is central.
