P.E.A.R.L., Juana / Anastasia Kristensen, John Raffaele
About This Event
At Public Records the bill lists P.E.A.R.L., Juana, Anastasia Kristensen, and John Raffaele. Juana, an Argentine electronic artist and DJ based in Buenos Aires, moves between folktronica and club-minded sound design, favoring restraint and texture, while P.E.A.R.L. (Pearl) brings a rock/pop approach rooted in ’90s American rock with direct vocals and tight band dynamics; the bill juxtaposes textural electronic work with band-oriented rock.
