Mohanad Elshieky: Green Books (work in progress)
About This Event
Mohanad Elshieky presents Green Books (work in progress) at Union Hall. A Queens-based performer who moves between rock/pop sets and stand-up, Elshieky mines immigrant life and political observation with direct language and a dry, reportorial rhythm. He has worked as a digital producer on Full Frontal with Samantha Bee and brought material to late-night television; the WIP setting lets him test how those pieces function beyond broadcast formats.
