Miss Maybell
About This Event
Miss Maybell, a New York jazz vocalist heard on local stages including Terra Blues, works in the club tradition with sets built around close listening and steady time rather than vocal display. She treats standards and blues forms as flexible frameworks, shaping phrases with careful diction and measured swing and letting the room, the band and the lyric carry the narrative.
