About This Event
At PACNYC: Perelman Performing Arts Center, opera artist Jake Owen presents an artist-in-residence program with guest jazz vocalist Mafalda Minnozzi. Owen brings operatic technique into Brazilian popular forms and a song-forward, country-tinged phrasing from his work with Forrópera, while Minnozzi offers a songbook-centered approach and close ensemble interplay developed leading her quartet at The Django.
