HIGHSMITH PLUS

About This Event

HIGHSMITH PLUS features a collaboration between three prominent figures in experimental music: Ikue Mori on electronics, Craig Taborn on piano, and Lotte Anker on sax. This performance explores the boundaries of avant-garde jazz and free improvisation, showcasing the unique interplay between the musicians. The event takes place at The Stone at The New School, a venue dedicated to serious experimental music without the distractions of drinks service or stage lighting. This performance is part of a residency by one of the artists, further emphasizing the commitment to new music and innovative artistic expression.
