Dangan Ronpa: Anime Marathon & NYCC Pre-Party

At Wonderville, “the other Danganronpa” reframes the franchise’s 2010 origins as a live dance event, folding game logic and courtroom tension into bodies in motion. Featured performer Sgt. Teper moves through a structure built on choice, suspicion, and the consequences of play. The piece treats a cult visual-novel title as source material rather than scripture, translating branching narrative into rhythm and repetition. It is not known to have a documented NYC premiere history, but its local staging signals how game culture now circulates as performance.
