David Gilmore Quintet

David Gilmore is an American jazz guitarist.

The David Gilmore Quartet is a working jazz group heard in New York City rooms such as Smalls Jazz Club, where the set is built around the guitarist’s writing and on-the-spot direction. The band moves between composed themes and open improvisation, keeping close attention on ensemble balance and rhythmic detail.
