About Double Edged Series: Ish Gupta and Sarah Barnitt (Hosted by Alaina Bamfield)
Double Edged Series brings Ish Gupta and Sarah Barnitt to the New York Comedy Club’s Midtown room, with Alaina Bamfield hosting. The format is a live comedy set shaped by contrast, where perspectives are tested in real time and the room’s reactions become part of the material. It sits in a long New York tradition of stand-up as a public forum, where identity, politics, and everyday life are argued through jokes. The sharpest moments land when the show treats disagreement as craft, not spectacle.
