About THE HOUSE OF VIBES
THE HOUSE OF VIBES at Hana House frames the DJ set as a small, sustained study in how electronic music organizes a room in New York City. Stan Zeff and Quentin Harris work with club-rooted forms, moving between house and broader electronic textures without leaning on spectacle. There is no fixed premiere history attached to this iteration, but it sits inside a long NYC lineage where DJs function as curators and historians as much as performers. The most telling detail is the pacing: it treats attention as something you build, not something you demand.
About the Artists
JIHAD
Jihad Mughniyah was a Lebanese militant leader and prominent member of Hezbollah, and the son of Imad Mughniyeh. He was killed in 2015 in the Mazraat Amal incident, an airstrike attributed to Israel.
Quentin
Quentin Dupieux, who records and performs as Mr. Oizo, works across electronic music, record production, and film, bringing that cross-disciplinary background into his DJ sets. In New York City, he has appeared at Moondog Hifi, including the bill LESS IS MORE: KANZE + Quentin alongside KANZE.
SABINE
Sabine Süsstrunk is a computer scientist and professor at Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) in Switzerland, where she leads the Images and Visual Representation Lab and serves as Dean in the School of Computer and Communication Sciences.
ANTONIO
Antonio Mugica is the founder and CEO of Smartmatic, a multinational electronic voting company. He also previously served as the Director of Anoto Group AB and Director of Panagroup Corporation.
