Screens Series: Umi Ishihara

Umi Ishihara is an artist whose work moves between exhibition-making and time-based media. In New York City, she has presented work at the New Museum, including the “Screens Series: Umi Ishihara.” Her practice draws on research and close looking, often treating the gallery as an edited sequence rather than a single image.
