About This Event
The Al Carty Group, led by Al Carty, appears at The Django with sets that foreground ensemble interplay and steady pacing, drawing on a working‑musician background shaped by live performance rather than studio polish. Their repertoire moves between standards and originals, with arrangements built for conversation among horns, rhythm section and soloists; the band's approach favors clarity and space, letting the tune lead.
