Alex Da Corte brings *Hot Dog With Ketchup* to Whitney Exhibitions, continuing his practice across painting, sculpture, installation, performance, and video. The show folds together mass-media icons and art-history fragments, treating them as raw material for looking at how contemporary identities get assembled and performed. At the Whitney, that collision of sources reads less like quotation than like a working method, where images are tested against each other until their meanings shift.
