The Pink Floyd Laser Spectacular

“The Pink Floyd Laser Spectacular” arrives at Westbury Music Fair as a concert-length visual program built around Pink Floyd’s catalog, pairing recorded music with synchronized lasers and projected imagery. The format traces a lineage familiar to New York audiences, where laser shows have long sat alongside rock presentation as a parallel live culture, from planetarium programs to arena-scale productions. It’s less a tribute band than a mediated performance, closer to cinema with concert volume. The critical interest lies in how it turns a studio-centered oeuvre into a public, collectively watched event.
