SAT 8 & 9:30 - Emi Makabe
About This Event
Emi Makabe, a jazz vocalist and improviser working at the edges of vocal jazz and free music, plays two intimate sets at Bar Bayeux. Her work—both recorded in the experimental jazz sphere and presented live—favors precision and risk over polish, treating the voice as storyteller and instrument and unfolding in close contact with the band and the room’s acoustics.
